Welcome to Superhands. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications (User, Stylist, and Salon apps).

2. Data We Collect

To provide you with our booking and social feed services, we collect the following:

• Account Information: Email address, name, and profile picture (via Google, Apple, or email sign-up).
• Location Data: If you grant permission, we collect your device's precise location (GPS) to show you nearby salons and calculate distances. This is only collected while you are using the app.
• User-Generated Content: Photos, videos, and captions you upload to your portfolio or the social feed.
• App Usage: Booking history, favorite stylists, saved looks, and gamification scores.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To facilitate salon bookings and schedule management.
• To populate the public "Explore" and "Trends" social feeds.
• To send push notifications regarding appointment updates (via Expo Notifications).
• To calculate your Superhands user score and rewards.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase as our secure backend infrastructure to store your data and media. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You have the right to delete your data at any time. You can permanently delete your entire account, including all associated bookings, posts, and profile data, directly inside the app by navigating to Profile > Delete Account permanently. Upon requesting deletion, your data is instantly and permanently wiped from our active databases.
